Because the interest for the 2008 Go to China trip has
been lower than in previous years, and the organizers have other
commitments, the trip has been cancelled. We are sorry about not responding
to emails, as we have been kept quite busy over the start of the year.
Go to China is an annual trip to Beijing, China,
for 2 months of go playing, activities, and fun. In 2008, the trip will be
arranged for the 5th time. We will spend a lot of extra effort on making
the 5th trip better than all of the previous ones.

Go to China is unique, because the basic
programme spans a full two months, and it is possible to study go during
the whole period. Other similar programmes and go events such as the go
congresses only last for two or at most three weeks.
2008 will be a very special
year for Go to China,
because it is an Olympic Year in Beijing, and a number of other activities
will be arranged in the city.
Our organization is very
flexible, and by renting apartments and organizing most activities by ourselves,
the group dynamics will be more interesting and the arrangements more
